I am home from Vietnam! Thank you for following me as I once again “followed Jesus to Vietnam.” The blog had over 9,000 “hits” this time around. I hope you enjoyed my photos and videos. It is my prayer that my journal entries not only informed, but inspired you! The verse that is on my mind today is Acts 4:20 “For we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.”
In Acts chapter 4, Peter and John were called in to testify before the Sanhedrin. They had been with Jesus and they couldn’t help but talk about the amazing miracles He had done. The Sanhedrin commanded them not to speak or teach in the name of Jesus, but they answered, “We can’t help it!”
I’ve just experienced Jesus in an incredible way in Vietnam. I can’t help but talk about what I’ve seen and heard. I’ve had another mountain top experience, and I am so full of stories I am ready to pop! Mountaintops are about the ascent, the struggle, the companionship along the way, and the breathtaking view that you carry with you forever! It’s exhilarating at the summit, but I know that no one lives there. So I’m coming down slowly off the mountain. My internal body clock is adjusting to the 12 hour time zone difference, and I am refocusing on my local church duties here in central Ohio. When I read this post in one month, two, even six months…I pray I will still be like Peter and John, unable to talk about anything else but Jesus…even after I’ve come down from the mountain.
……and we can’t wait to hear those stories. If you don’t put them in your sermons, be sure to repeat them for the snowbirds. We are home for a brief visit but will be back April 10th. See you Sunday! Thanks for the excellant coverage. Glad you are all home safe and sound. (Well, reasonably sound.
)
Welcome HOme, Dennis! We can’t wait to hear the stories of your Mountain Top experiences.
So glad you are ALL home safely and hope you have gotten back on our time just so you can change and “Spring Ahead” this weekend.
We talked with Jerry Kupsky briefly at Applebee’s when they were eating. He did look tired and am sure going to bed shortly after we saw him.
Looking forward to some of your remarks and additional hi-lights of the trip. Videos were really great.
So glad we did not have to all come to Vietnam to get you out of jail. As I heard, you had a different helmet and the policeman must not have liked it.
Anyway, glad to have you home, and I know Rachel is most happy. Talked with her Sunday as we were leaving church.
God’s Love and Ours, Geneva (and Joe)

Thank you for your service and ministry not only here but also in Vietnam. May others see, learn and develop a servants heart from the way you have demonstrated God’s love. Thank you for being an obedient vessel. I pray that you will always been on that mountaintop! God Bless you!!! I am thankful that you were able to share God with those in Vietnam and thankful that God blessed you abundantly during your trip!
